Man accused of wounding granted bail

A man accused of stabbing a woman after a confrontation in Port Kennedy on Sunday has been granted bail.
The 24 year old was in custody when he appeared in Rockingham Magistrate’s Court on Monday charged with unlawful wounding with a circumstance of aggravation.
He did not plead to the charge but a bail application by his lawyer was successful.
Police were called to Reims Lane in Port Kennedy just before 8am where a woman was allegedly slashed by someone she knew.
Paramedics were called but bystanders drove the injured woman to hospital.
Mr Hardy will appear in court again on Friday.
