The City of Kwinana is now home to 34 new Australian citizens, with the group welcomed during a citizenship ceremony this month.

Deputy Mayor Peter Feasey welcomed the new citizens, who come from countries including the Philippines, United Kingdom and Bangladesh.

“Making the Australian Citizenship pledge is an important and often emotional moment for new citizens and their families,” he said.

“Kwinana is proud to welcome new citizens from all corners of the globe to our proudly multicultural City.”
