Kwinana kids told to get active this Halloween

Cecilia AllenSound Telegraph

Kwinana families are encouraged to explore Rhodes Park in a unique and fun way for Halloween.

Magical Parks is the world’s first digital playground aimed at getting tech loving kids aged 6-12 out into parks.

The City of Kwinana’s Healthy Lifestyles Team is celebrating a healthy Halloween through the use of the app which encourages kids and families to get active and explore.

The app, produced by Geo AR Games, uses geolocation to determine the location of the player and using the information renders an augmented world around them.

In this case, it will be a Halloween themed and will include ghosts and ghouls.

The event will take place on October 31, from 3pm to 5pm.

Refreshments and free Wi-Fi will be provided.

Those who wish to attend will need to bring a device and download the Magical Parks app.
