Help sought over assault at bus stop

Sound Telegraph

Rockingham detectives have asked for the public’s help to locate a woman who allegedly indecently assaulted a 17-year-old girl at a Council Avenue bus stop late last year.

Police say the teenager was waiting at the Rockingham bus stop about 11.25am on Friday, December 22, when she was approached by an unknown woman.

The woman allegedly abused, pushed and indecently assaulted the girl, before the victim broke free and boarded a bus that had just arrived.

The accused is described as being in her mid-30s, dark-skinned with a slim build and 155cm tall.
