A working group will be established to determine the future use of Cape Peron.

The Mangles Bay Planning Investigation Area Working Party is being set up to consider the land use options for the area, and will comprise representatives from relevant State Government agencies and the City of Rockingham.

The group will be supported by the establishment of a related community reference group which will provide input and feedback for the duration of the study.

Rockingham’s representative will be councillor Andrew Burns. The project is expected to last between six to 12 months.
