Furry Friend Fun Day in Rockingham

Cecilia AllenSound Telegraph

Furry friends and their owners are invited to attend a canine-focused event in Rockingham next month.

Furry Friend Fun Day will include a mobile dog wash, photo props, show bags, pet-related market stalls and a sausage sizzle.

City of Rockingham Mayor and dog owner Barry Sammels said it was a great opportunity to get your dog microchipped, with a discounted microchipping price of $35 on offer.

“Meet the rangers, get information about registration renewal and get to know the City’s off-leash dog exercise areas while socialising your dog and enjoying a cuppa,” he said.

Residents that renew their pet’s registration for its lifetime before November 1 will go into the draw to win one of five $100 vouchers donated by Pet City WA.
