Donation to help build all-inclusive playground at Malibu School

Representatives from MSP Engineering and Pacific Industrial Company presented a $6000 cheque to the Malibu School at its Christmas assembly last Tuesday.

The money is part of a total of $12,000 raised by the construction team at the Lithium Hydroxide Production Plant that MSP is building for Tianqi Lithium in Kwinana.

A 12-week productivity incentive scheme was implemented at the site, with the con-struction team earning $1000 per company for a cause of their choosing each week they safely erected more than 100 tonnes of steel.

MSP project manager Len Greenhalgh and PIC managing director Marco Mosole said both companies were proud to play a small part in helping the Malibu School deliver its future without limits theme.

Principal Noelene Mason said the money would go towards building a new all-inclusive undercover play area, complete with swings and a roundabout for students in wheelchairs.

She said the play area would also encourage “learning in action” at the school.
