A 30-year-old man has been arrested after an alleged spate of burglaries across the south metropolitan region earlier this year, including in Kwinana and Baldivis.

Fremantle Detectives have confirmed that a Spearwood man has been charged with 14 offences ranging from burglary, stealing motor vehicles, possessing prohibited drugs and reckless driving.

The charges relate to a series of burglaries in January and February in suburbs including Kwinana, Baldivis, Fremantle and Coogee.

Police raided a Spearwood home and claim they seized about $100,000 worth of stolen property, assorted tools, a stolen motor vehicle and three motorcycles.

A man has been charged with four counts of stealing a motor vehicle, four counts of stealing, two of burglary, two of possessing prohibited drugs, reckless driving and failing to stop.

He is due to appear at Fremantle Magistrates Court on March 24.
