The second round of the Secret Harbour Surf Beach Boardriders on Sunday made quite the splash, with some scintillating action on the waves.

One-metre waves with offshore winds greeted 90 competitors, as they got to mix it in an ocean full of seaweed after a big swell earlier in the week.

Standout surfers on the day included Kelsey Buchanan who powered to a cadet win ahead of Kali Grayson and Ella Gibey, while the ever-improving Cooper Perry took out first place in the Grom boys.
