Baldivis biker injured after alleged police chase

Sound Telegraph

A 33-year-old Baldivis man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash last night, losing control of his bike after allegedly failing to stop for police.

At about 11pm on Monday night police officers from the Southern Regional Operations Group spotted the man riding a motorcycle on Mayor Road and Beeliar Drive in Munster.

Police believed the vehicle to be bearing false number plates and attempted to stop to the motorcycle, but say the man failed to stop before losing control of the vehicle and crashing.

The rider suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital.

He is yet to be charged by police.
