For the first time in WA history, rescues are uniting in the fight against unwanted animals by joining forces in a rescue and adoption day, taking place in Rockingham.

This Sunday March 3, 20 rescues will be joining forces to showcase how amazing rescue pets can be.

Organised by Staffy And Bully Breed Rescue, a not for profit dog rescue, and My Rescue Match, an adoptive pet match-making agency, the All Animal Rescue and Adoption Day will help WA families find the perfect Adopted pet.

The event is aimed at helping out the ‘under-dogs’; rescues who are doing it tough with no funding and an endless stream of animals needing them.

The event is a family friendly event, and friendly on-lead animals are welcome to enjoy the festivities.

There will be an animal photo booth, educative talks, amazing prizes, competitions and it will be a chance to chat to rescue volunteers.

Held at the Dixon Road Reserve, the event runs from 10am-4pm.
