WARNING: PREGNANCY LOSS
Perth TV star and food expert Alex Crisp has shared the heartbreaking news of a miscarriage in a “deeply personal” social media post.
Ms Crisp — who hails from WA and has starred on Masterchef — took to social media to reveal she had been planning to announce her pregnancy with partner Jackson Moore before the tragic update on Sunday.
“Today I was meant to share with you all such a beautiful thing. I never imagined that I would be announcing our pregnancy news as a eulogy instead,” Ms Crisp said.
“To my little lost love, although I didn’t get to meet you, I think about what you would have been like. Who you would grow up to be. . .If you had your Dad’s nose or mine.
“I love you and you will be a big part of who I am forever. — Mum.”
Ms Crisp explained she had found out she was pregnant in May after a long struggle with endometriosis.
The TV star revealed she had found out she had experienced a ‘silent miscarriage’ at an OBGYN appointment, saying her world “stopped instantly”.
“Everything suddenly changed. . .Why did my baby die? Why me? What did I do wrong?
“The hurt, pain, and struggle I endured with this loss will haunt me forever. And to be totally honest, I don’t think (I’ll) ever be the same.”

Ms Crisp says she is “making it through day by day” and expressed her support for people going through the same heart-wrenching experience.
“If you have experienced pregnancy loss, I am so sorry. . .It is so unbelievably cruel.
“(I’m) still riding the wave, and I have my moments, but each day (I’m) making progress.”
Ms Crisp’s followers flooded her comments with messages of support.
“You’re a brave soul for sharing it — this will make so many people feel seen. You’re a wonderful person and will make a wonderful mum,” one person said.
“I’m so sorry ❤️ sending you so much love ❤️,” another person said.
“Oh sweetheart, I am so so sorry. There are no words, just love. Praying for you ❤️,” another said.
