A Rockingham car dealership has stepped up to the plate to assist the Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant by providing cars for floats when supply was dwindling.

Rockingham Volkswagen, part of Shacks Motor Group, supplied two cars for the pageant on December 4 and even installed tow bars to ensure the show could go on.

Cheryl-Lee McOuat, new vehicle sales manager at Rockingham Volkswagen, said the dealership was thrilled to be able to lend a helping hand.

“Rockingham Volkswagen were so very excited and proud to supply two vehicles with drivers for the 50th annual Christmas Pageant,” she said.

The vehicles joined a fleet which helped tow 20 themed floats through the Perth CBD accompanied by 2500 dancers, musicians and performers for the 50th Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant.
