Narrogin’s senior students sparkled as they donned regency fashions straight from a “Bridgerton-inspired dream” for the 2026 school ball. Narrogin Senior High School’s Enchanted Rococo School Ball 2026 drew 140 Year 11 and 12 students to the Narrogin Town Hall on February 20 for a night filled with dancing, awards, glam and fun. Despite temperatures reaching 34C, the weather failed to swelter the students’ magical night, which was made possible by a team of parent volunteers who decorated the hall. Londa Finlayson said the ball was “nothing short of a Bridgerton-inspired dream”, with “shimmering gowns, dashing suits, grand decor and a dance floor alive with laughter and celebration”. “Watching our students step into this beautiful rite of passage in such splendour was truly something special,” she said. “The confidence, grace and camaraderie on display reminded us all why the school ball is such a treasured milestone in the Narrogin SHS journey. “The atmosphere was filled with joy, pride and a touch of old-world romance.” Students Kaylab Maley and Hayley Forsythe were crowned king and queen of the ball in front of their peers to reward their style and grace displayed on the night. The best couple for Year 12 was awarded to Scott Tyson and Millie Wilkins. On behalf of NSHS, Ms Finlayson extended a heartfelt thank you to the caterers Ben, Mel & Co, volunteers, Year 10 waitstaff, DJ Ben, supporting local businesses, Bliss Photography, bar staff, supervising staff, staff photographers, staff helpers and the shire. “Your time, generosity and spirit transformed an ordinary evening into an enchanted celebration worthy of The Ton,” she said. “Here’s to the memories made under chandeliers and fairy lights, a night of friendship, laughter and elegance that will be remembered for years to come.”
