Damon Watt won the fielding award and Caleb Dewing took home the junior award.

Another highlight of the wind-up was the presentation of life membership to long-time servant Lesley Quartermaine.

Quartermaine’s involvement in the club began back in 2009 when she assisted son Jason during his term as president.

She spent two terms as UGSCA secretary before taking on the treasurer position at Cuballing in 2015-16, and is still serving in the role.

During her time at Cuballing, Quartermaine has also been involved in fundraising and other general assistance roles where required, and is considered a deserving recipient of life membership.

In the B-grade awards, Cade Turner-Reid claimed the cricketer of the year gong and also won the bowling aggregate.

Quin Paice won the batting average, while the batting aggregate award went to Robin Donnell, and Dorry Grzinic won the bowling average award.

The fielding award went to Jacob Mulcahy, Brandon Kemp was named most improved, and the coaches’ award was won by Sam Grieve.

There was also recognition of hundreds scored and of five wickets taken.

Dowling’s 106 not out, along with five-wicket hauls from Grady Francis (5-15), Forrest (6-25) and Moolman (5-29 and 5-36) were mentioned, along with a hat-trick from Paice (4-21).
