Michelle Leahy: Search for missing Perth mother continues after disappearance last Thursday

The search for a missing Perth mother is continuing almost one week after she vanished, with her desperate family announcing a $100,000 reward for information.
Michelle Leahy, 50, was last spotted leaving Hollywood Private Hospital on Monash Avenue in Nedlands about 3pm on Thursday.
The mother-of-three, who was unwell at the time of her disappearance, hasn’t been seen since.
Ms Leahy’s family has announced a $100,000 reward for information that leads them to the missing mother.
Her heartbroken husband, Murray Leahy, told The West there was an potential sighting of her crossing Stirling Highway before she travelled south towards Bruce Street after leaving the hospital.
“I‘m at a complete loss as to where she may be,” Mr Leahy said.

“For our family, it’s absolutely gut wrenching — Michelle and I have three beautiful children who have grown up in a household where she’s been a very devoted, loving, nurturing, caring mother and really the centre of our family.”
“To not know that she’s safe is causing the four of us to here at home a level of pain that I didn’t think was possible to be able to feel.
Mr Leahy urged anyone who was driving in the Nedlands area around Bruce street or adjoining streets south of Stirling Highway on Thursday afternoon to contact police with any dash-cam footage.

Mr Leahy addressed his missing wife personally when speaking to The West, saying his family “needed” her home.
“You are dearly loved, appreciated, needed, wanted, and not having you here is creating a gaping hole in the floor of our hearts,” he said.
“If you are there, regardless of what you may be feeling, know that we are here for you. We want you here. We want to help you get better, and want nothing more than your happiness and your safety.”

A police spokeswoman said the search was continuing for Ms Leahy on Wednesday morning.
Members of the public have shared digital posters of Ms Leahy in the hopes anyone with information will contact police.
She is described as being about 175cm tall with brown hair and blue eyes. CCTV images show she was last seen wearing a white top, blue patterned pants and a black cap.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 131 444.
