Netballers from around the region hit the courts at Geraldton Netball Association recently for the Midwest Gascoyne Regional Championships to see who is the best in the Mid West.

Across five divisions from under 11s to seniors, teams battled out across the last weekend of July, with the Day Dreamers winning the senior competition after upsetting Kazuals in the final.

Both teams were unbeaten heading into the final pool game against each other, which the Kazuals won by four goals 26-22.

But Day Dreamers turned it around on the Sunday to dominate the match, winning 35-19 and taking home the championship.
