Sponsored uniforms put new sheen on Bridgetown association girls

Thanks to the support of local businesses, the Bridgetown Netball Association players have new uniforms to show off when they represent the association.

The new uniforms were revealed at the recent Netball WA South West Regional Championships, which saw the association take out the association sportmanship award, as well as the 15-and-under grade.

Association vice-president Georgie Miller said the new kits had received a good reception at the championships.

“We had a lot of comments about how smart the girls looked and how it was so much nicer than their previous uniforms which were looking a bit worn out,” she said

“The girls just went with a really good feeling of being proud of their association.”

Miller said they were overwhelmed by the support they had received.

“We haven’t had as many fundraising opportunities with COVID, so it’s been fantastic to have our regular sponsors back again and some new ones,” she said.

The uniforms are sponsored by Talison Lithium, Bridgetown Glass, SG Mining, K & K Electrical, Noel and Bev Holdsworth, Bridgetown Glass Service and Pharmacy 777 Bridgetown.
