There are reports multiple cars have been damaged after fire tore through a Welshpool business on Sunday morning, sending thick smoke across Perth’s inner eastern suburbs.

Emergency services were called to the blaze just after 5.30am near the intersection of Colin Jamieson Drive and Pilbara Street in Welshpool’s industrial area.

Authorities issued an all clear just after 7am, but Emergency WA had warned there is still a significant amount of smoke in the area.
