Wattle Grove: Major crash officers investigate early morning motorbike and vehicle collision on Welshpool Road

Police are investigating an early morning crash after a motorbike smashed into a car in Perth’s south-east.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports that a black Honda Civic had collided with a blue Bolwell motorcycle on Welshpool Road, near the intersection of Lewis Road, in Wattle Grove about 6.40am on Tuesday.

A 34-year-old male motorcycle rider and male passenger, also 34, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Honda — a 24-year-old man — stopped at the scene and was not hurt.
