Cash, drugs and gel blaster allegedly seized from Parmelia home following terrifying late night armed robbery

Cash, drugs and a gel blaster have allegedly been seized from a southern suburbs home after a terrifying late-night armed robbery. Police said they received reports of two unknown people entering a home on The Ramble in Parmelia about 10.30pm on Tuesday. They allegedly threatened the occupants with a knife before fleeing. After attending the property, police allegedly seized a cash, drugs and a gel blaster from inside the home. A 26-year-old man from Parmelia has been charged with two counts of possession of prohibited drugs with intent to sell or supply and one count of carrying or possessing a prohibited weapon. He is due to front Rockingham Magistrates Court on July 18. Police Commissioner Col Blanch said there was no ongoing risk to the public. “(Alleged) drug dealers usually get invaded in their homes by drug users,” he said on Wednesday. “We have charged the people in the home for drug matters. “The good people of Western Australia have nothing to fear in that situation, it’s very confined to those involved.” Inquiries are ongoing.
