Apology to Don Punch MP

On 13 January 2025, The West Australian published an article on-line suggesting that Don Punch MP had sent a child back to his abuser’s clutches in 1988.

We understand that Mr Punch MP chaired only one of the child’s case conferences in the role of Acting Social Work Supervisor in which it was formally decided that the child should remain with his maternal grandmother.
