Last night Boris Johnson became the latest high profile person to test positive to COVID-19 as cases globally surpassed half a million and Australian cases inched past 3000.

News of the British Prime Minister’s positive test came less than 24 hours after Prince Charles also confirmed he was in self isolation suffering with the new coronavirus.

Closer to home WA registered another 24 cases on Friday — including a five-month-old child and its parents — as the State’s tally moved to 255.

Late last night it was confirmed the captain of a German cruise ship docked at Fremantle reported more than 70 foreign passengers and crew have COVID-19 symptoms, plunging WA into an international crisis.
