COVID funding relief for Bunbury groups

Several community organisations can breathe a sigh of relief thanks to a new allocation of Lotterywest COVID-19 relief funding.

Bunbury MLA Don Punch presented Advocacy WA, Dolphin Discovery Centre and Doors Wide Open with the grants on Friday.

For many people the period of the COVID-19 emergency has been characterised by isolation, fear and uncertainty ... the value of our community sector to support people who may not have their own networks to rely on is undeniable.

The Dolphin Discovery Centre was awarded $150,917 to help it address the financial impacts of COVID-19.

Advocacy WA and Doors Wide Open received $70,280 and $26,824 respectively to help them continue with the vital services they provide.
