Bondi shooter condition
One shooter, Naveed Akram, 24, is in a coma and under police guard.
He is expected to survive after his father Sajid was killed on scene.

Albanese and Minns visit Bondi hero
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and NSW Premier Chris Minns visited hero Ahmed Al Ahmed, 43, who wrestled a gun from a gunman before enabling Reuven Morrison’s brave brick-throwing counterattack captured on video.
NSW Health extends its deepest sympathies to the families, friends and loved ones of those who died and were injured at Bondi Beach.

Injured police officers
It’s been revealed that three police officers were injured during the chaos of the beach massacre.
Two remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition. It has been reported that one of those officers was in a police car that was first on the scene when the shooting broke out. Photos of the vehicle show three bullet holes on the windscreen.
Constable Scott Dyson has been identified as one of the three NSW Police officers injured in Sunday’s Bondi Beach terrorist attack.
On Monday night, his family, through NSW Police, shared a photo of the young Australian man.
NSW Police said Constable Dyson remains in a serious but stable condition.
Constable Dyson had been attached to the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command for 18 months before he was injured in the fatal attack.
It has been reported that Constable Dyson has recently learnt he was becoming a father, as his partner had fallen pregnant.

The families of two officers issued a heartfelt thanks to service members who have assisted since the shooting, including the ICU staff who have helped the officers.
“The families of the two injured officers wish to pass on their thoughts to the loved ones of those who were killed and injured in the Bondi shooting tragedy,” the joint statement shared via NSW Police said.
“They also want to express their heartfelt gratitude to all first responders who acted with courage, in particular the police officers and paramedics who responded. They also wish to thank their hospital team, and especially those in ICU.
“They thank the community for their support but have asked for privacy as their loved ones focus on recovery and healing.”
Detective hiding behind tree
The plain clothed detective who fired on and killed one of the Bondi Beach gunmen, helping end the slaughter of innocent bystanders, has reportedly been identified as a senior Bondi detective.
In vision of the unfolding horror, the detective can be seen creeping up on the alleged terrorist attackers, father and son Naveed Akram and Sajid Akram as they fire shots from a pedestrian bridge.
NSW Police told The Nightly they could not comment on the detective’s actions as a critical incident investigation was still underway into the Bondi shootings.
The third officer is a probationary officer whose identity has not been confirmed.
