IN PICTURES: ACCI members meet for marketplace social sundowner at Rustlers Steakhouse and Grill

Albany’s monthly business networking event was held with a bit of twist on Thursday, as members of the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry took the opportunity to showcase their wares via stalls.
Hosted by Rustlers Steakhouse and Grill, the ACCI’s marketplace social sundowner was an overwhelming success.
Differing from the usual monthly mingles, the marketplace event allowed 10 businesses to display their products, services and information to their business fellows.
Each attendee was offered a stall “passport” that could be stamped by stallholders to encourage engagement.
Albany Advertiser stallholder Harrison Bolton praised the event.
“It was a great opportunity for businesses to connect and showcase their products and services on offer,” he said.

“Speaking and networking directly to the business community, which is a key feature of being a part of the ACCI, was invaluable.”
The nature of the stallholders varied from media, arts and culture to retail, tourism and mental health not-for-profits.
More than 100 people attended the event and enjoyed food and refreshments supplied by their hosts Rustlers while the Albany International Folk ‘n’ Shanty Men put on a rollicking special performance.
