Free postcards depicting Albany’s iconic scenes are now available for residents to send to their loved ones, as the City of Albany launches a marketing campaign to draw in visitors for WA’s first bicentenary.

The campaign, called See You Soon, was kickstarted to encourage the Albany community to invite their friends and family to come and stay next year to experience the Albany 2026 celebrations.

Mayor Greg Stocks said he hoped the campaign pushes residents to share the pride they feel in their home and share it with others.

“This campaign is about pride in place and the power of personal connection.

“Albany will be welcoming the world in 2026, and our community has an opportunity to be part of that invitation.”

Each postcard showcases Albany’s stunning landscapes as taken by local photographers, with Dog Rock, the Kalgan River mouth and Vancouver Peninsula a few of the choices available.

The postcards will be available from the Albany Public Library and at the City of Albany stall at the Albany Agricultural Show on November 7 and 8.

Free stamps are also provided for the first 200 people who write a card.
