Scitech After Dark

Saturday June 6, 6-10pm, Scitech, West Perth

STEM with a side of cocktails? Experience the educational institution in a whole new light at Scitech’s annual adults-only event. As well as more than 100 hands-on exhibits to explore, other highlights include a film screening in the Planetarium, a live science game show, glow-in-the-dark face painting and more.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow

Sunday June 7, 7.30pm, Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, Mandurah

Comedians including Dilruk Jayasinha, Kate Dolan and Malaysia’s Kuah Jenhan are joining forces as part of the 2026 MICF’s nationwide roadshow. The series also includes shows in various regional WA locations including Margaret River (June 6), Esperance (July 8), Kalgoorlie (July 9) and Busselton (July 11), and in Perth on July 10.

Hidden Treasures

Thursday June 11, 5.30pm, North Freo Bowlo, and Thursday June 18, 5.30pm, Hilton Bowling Club

Fremantle’s winter live music series returns for 2026 with two dates and two new suburban bowling club venues. This year’s line-up includes Navisha, The Satisfaction, Yesna, DJ Borderan, Persia, Oniike and Ricky Neil Jr, and proceeds will again go towards supporting venues and showcasing the local live music industry.

Cape Arid Rooms x Simon Johnson x Calendar Cheese Co

Thursday June 11, 6pm-8pm, State Buildings, Perth

Combining wine, cheese and the backdrop of one of Perth’s most beautiful buildings, this one-off collaboration will see gourmet food retailer Simon Johnson and distributor and importer Calendar Cheese take over the State Buildings’ stunning Cape Arid Rooms. On the cheese menu is everything from Papillon roquefort to Ferme de la Tremblaye Farmstead brie, and the ticket price includes a glass of sparkling on arrival.

Whether you’re a bingo guru or a green thumb, get along to this fun-filled event for plenty of plant-themed action including interactive games, raffles and a cash bar (BYO food). Proceeds raised will go towards supporting Perth City Farm.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

From Friday June 12, Jorgensen Park, Kalamunda

In a West Australian first, this multisensory night-time trail is set to cast its spell over the Kalamunda bushland. Follow the winding woodland path where you’ll discover light projections, original soundscapes and magical encounters with familiar faces from the beloved book and film franchises, plus a themed village complete with shopping, food and drink offerings. It’s designed for all ages and has previously been staged to more than two million people in cities including London, New York and Singapore.

June 12-14, RAC Arena, Perth

From Mickey and Minnie Mouse to Elsa and Aladdin, more than 50 of Disney most beloved children’s characters will take to the ice for Magic In The Stars. It’s the most characters to ever star in one show, and this new production will again combine an amazing array of figure-skating, dance, acrobatics, special effects and plenty of classic Disney songs to sing along to. There are multiple show times across the weekend.
