While 2020 might be cancelled, Australia’s favourite music festival has delivered a star-studded line-up for 2021.

Splendour In The Grass have announced the acts headlining their 2021 return, and its sure to make you Feel Good Inc.

Iconic 90’s act Gorillaz will be kicking off the 20th anniversary of the festival followed by The Strokes and finishing up with US rapper Tyler, The Creator.

The festival will run over three days, from July 23 to 25.

Tyler, The Creator and The Strokes have agreed to return to the festival line up next year after originally planning to come down under for this years festival, before coronavirus called it off.

Gorillaz will be replacing Aussie act Flume after he was unable to commit to the new 2021 dates.

The virtual band was founded by muso Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, who gained global success in the early 2000s with their cult hit Feel Good Inc.

Unlike Tyler, The Creator and The Strokes, the BRIT and Grammy winning Gorillaz is comprised of four animated band members, singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle and drummer Russel Hobbs.

The UK act have built the illusion of a virtual band through their music videos and press interviews, with their unique approach to performance even scoring them recognition with the Guinness Book of World Records as the planets Most Successful Virtual Act.

Organisers of Splendour have confirmed the remaining line-up will be released in early 2021 and that tickets for this years festival will be valid for next years return.

2020 Splendour ticket holders who can’t make the new July 2021 dates have two weeks, until midnight on Monday 27 July, to apply for a refund.
