Jim Jefferies announces national Give ‘Em What They Want tour to kick off in Perth
Comedy megastar Jim Jefferies will jump from your TV screens and into arenas, delighting fans with an Aussie tour this year.
The 1% Club game show host has announced he will be heading across Australia this August on his Give ‘Em What They Want tour.
Jefferies will begin the tour at HBF Stadium in Perth before a series of shows in Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Townsville.
The 47-year-old’s previous Antipodean tour in 2022 was a success, with 27 shows selling out across Australia and New Zealand.
Having also sold out arenas worldwide—including iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena—Jefferies stands out as a popular, provocative and respected comedian.
His hit game show continues to rate, reaching a total national audience of 1,520,000 in February.
Jefferies’ ability to tackle controversial topics with intelligence and humour has earned him a huge global following and critical acclaim, even being awarded Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival in 2019.
Not only is he a master of the game show, he has nine Netflix comedy specials to his name including 2017’s highly praised Freedom, 2018’s This Is Me Now and 2020’s Intolerant.
The Sydney-born Australian also hosts a podcast called I Don’t Know About That.
Making waves to a US fan base in the early days with his sitcom Legit, his late-night satirical, The Jim Jefferies Show, became one of the most talked-about shows worldwide for three years running following its 2017 debut – even Brad Pitt asked to make a guest appearance.
Jefferies was talent-scouted as a teenager and went on to win scholarships at prestigious institutions like the Sydney Opera House and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Tickets to his tour will go on sale Friday, May 3 at 9am local time via Frontier.
Frontier Members can get early access via the Frontier pre-sale, which starts Wednesday, May 1.
