VideoVictoria Beckham has addressed the ongoing family feud with her estranged son Brooklyn in a Wall Street Journal magazine interview, stating that she and David love their children and have always tried to be the best parents.

The ongoing Beckham family drama has boiled to the surface once again, this time as Sir David Beckham was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

It was huge highlight for David after lifetime of dizzying highs, but his first born wasn’t there to share it.

Even though the multimillion-dollar mansion he shares with wife Nicola Pelts-Beckham in the Trousdale Estate is just 20 minutes away from where the ceremony took place, Brooklyn was a no show.

Instead, the former England football captain, 51, was surrounded by the rest of his immediate family, wife Victoria and children Romeo, Cruz and Harper. Adding some star power was long time friends of the Beckhams were Tom Cruise, who gave the inductions speech, and Eva Longoria and James Corden.

Brooklyn’s absence was clearly a sore point for David, who snapped at a reporter who dared ask about the family falling out.

When asked about the toll media coverage of the estrangement had had on him, David bluntly shut it down, according to The Sun.

“To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter. That’s the one thing that I don’t want to talk about.”

However, in a separate interview with Variety to mark getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beckham praised his “four incredible kids”.

“We’ve got businesses that we work hard on. But we always make time for each other, and we always have. I want Victoria to be the best version of herself, and vice versa.

“And as busy as we are, our family always comes first. That’s our priority, and that’s what makes it work when you’ve been together for so long. Our priority will always be our family.”

Brooklyn however, has missed every family event for some time.

Beckham family tension exploded in January when Brooklyn posted a raw rant on social media, accusing his parents of press manipulation and undermining his marriage to Nicola Peltz, and even derailing his wedding day.

In a series of detailed Instagram Stories, he claimed his parents had relentlessly tried to destroy his marriage through media leaks and sabotage.

The outburst followed reports of rifts, including family members blocking each other on social media, and the Peltz-Beckhams skipping “Brand Beckham” events, such as Christmas gatherings.
